Tullia (Titti) and Massimo gave birth to MAXIMA in 1967.

Titti was responsible for creation and selling the product. Massimo indeed took care of leathers trading.

GROWTH

In the 70s MAXIMA was regularly present the best boutiques of GERMANY like BALLY, PRANGE and the famous “AVANGARDISTEN”.

In the 80s Maxima conquers the USA.

First exclusive customer was BERGDORF GOODMAN, then NEIMAN MARCUS ( for about 20 years) SAKS 5th Ave, BENDEL, BARNEY’S, I MAGNIN, LINA LEE, WILKES BASHFORD, AMEN WARDY, MAXFINLD, SAVANNAH, LOU LATTIMORE, LINDA DRESNER, LOUIS etc.

It also enters the ASIAN market directly at the top … JOICE, KANEMATZU, NICHIO TRADING, HONG LEONG, LADY BIRD, JEDONG MOOLSAN and many more.

Maxima starts with a SHOW ROOM in MILAN at Via Della Spiga 32.

The garments werte already signed as TITTI DELL’ACQUA, and no longer as MAXIMA.

THE SUCCESS

In addition to bags, the production of important CASHMERE items crocodile detailed was born.

Success was immediate and, as always, Titti Dell’Acqua garments “got the top position in every showcase”.
